Oxford Life Skills was established in July of 2003 when Life Skills Centers took over ownership of what was previously known as Buckingham Community Services. The facility has been in operation since 1998. The Oxford branch has always been known for its ability to provide vocational services for those who are more medically fragile, emphasizing in pre-vocational training, socialization, and community integration. Here at Oxford Life Skills we pride ourselves in our sensory integration program for those who have sensory needs.
Engagement, skill building as well as community integration are areas of focus, striving to enhance the lives of each and every individual. All services are provided in a gentle and care giving environment with staff that are well trained and compassionate. We strive to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve and know that we are successful when the persons we serve reach out and make a difference in our lives as well as
the lives of others.
