Instructors are direct service providers. They work directly with developmentally disabled and/or physically disabled adults. They are responsible to train persons served in adult daily living skills, communication, socialization, safety skills, numerical skills, and any other training as indicated in the Individual Plan of Service. They are also responsible to maintain the health and safety of persons served, to include providing care to meet individuals physical health needs, as indicated in Individual Plan of Service. Employees work on an individual or group basis, in one or more areas of instruction, in center based (in-house) programs or in the community.
